We get it - because we’ve lived it.

Big Pup Club was inspired by our own gentle giant, Luna - the heart and soul behind everything we do. When Luna joined our family, we were shocked at how much fear and confusion her size caused. People would whisk their children away, walk out of pub gardens, or cross the road just to avoid her.

And lately, the conversation around big dogs - especially since the XL Bully ban - has felt heavier than ever. It’s full of anger, frustration, and heartbreak from people who are hurting. And we get it… but we wanted to carve out something a little different.

A place where we can celebrate the joy, humour, and wonderful chaos of life with a dog who doesn't exactly "fit" on the sofa. Where we share the good stories, laugh at the quirks and use that positivity to chip away at the stigma and make big dogs impossible to ignore - for all the right reasons.

Because here’s the truth: those who actually meet Luna quickly realise she’s nothing like the stereotype. She’s sweet, friendly, and full of love - just like so many other Big Pups who get judged before they’re given a chance.
